Data Scientist


Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Data Scientist to design, develop, and deploy data-driven solutions that support strategic decision-making and business performance. In this fully remote role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to extract insights from complex datasets, build predictive models, and deliver actionable recommendations that drive organizational success.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and analyze large, structured and unstructured datasets

Design and develop statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics solutions

Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support business strategy and operational improvements

Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and leadership teams to define data requirements and deliver insights

Validate models and ensure accuracy, reliability, and scalability of analytical solutions

Support data automation and optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and decision-making

Document methodologies, assumptions, and findings clearly and consistently

Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards

Required Qualifications

Must currently reside in the United States

Must possess a valid government-issued ID (e.g., U.S. Passport, Drivers License, or State ID)

Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role

Strong proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis and modeling

Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational and non-relational databases

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent

Solid understanding of statistics, machine learning techniques, and data modeling best practices

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a cloud-based environment (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)

Familiarity with big data tools such as Spark or Hadoop

Experience deploying models into production environments

Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards
