Requirements

Purpose of Role

We are seeking a Graduate EV Coordinator to become a vital member of our Project Management Office (PMO) team. In this role, you will provide essential support to both the EV Infrastructure Planner and the Connections team, contributing to the seamless delivery of electric vehicle infrastructure projects. Your collaborative efforts will help facilitate project planning and ensure effective coordination across teams, supporting the achievement of Connected Kerb’s ambitious goals in the transition to sustainable mobility.

You will support the EV Infrastructure Planner to identify and approve EV charging sites using urban planning technology. Collaboration with the Connections Team will involve updating reports and maintaining data accuracy. The role is a key part in advancing sustainable mobility.

The position requires strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage financial and compliance processes accurately. You will work closely with the Delivery team to ensure governance, timely delivery, and effective coordination with partners across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyse, and propose viable sites using mapping software to support the development of public and private charge point networks
  • Conduct feasibility studies confirming the viability of proposed sites from a construction and electric infrastructure perspective
  • Engage with key internal stakeholders to provide progress updates and navigate the process of gaining site approval
  • Create and maintain regular reports and trackers in Excel for internal and stakeholders
  • Assist the Delivery team with ad-hoc project coordination tasks when needed
  • Help with general team administration and coordination across multiple projects
  • Take ownership of tasks and look for opportunities to add value
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment and progress tracking
  • Maintain and update the Project CRM platform with all site-related information, including Change Requests, Risk Register updates, Issue logs, and delivery details
  • Track details on Installed not Commissioned Sites

Key Skills and Attributes

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. Gantt charts, reporting dashboards)
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in financial and compliance-related tasks
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to take ownership of tasks
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills, with experience working across teams and partners

Desirable Skills & Knowledge

  • Familiarity with project management software (Microsoft Project, Planner)
  • Knowledge of salesforce.
  • Good understanding of the role of spatial data in the modern urban planning field, with a clear vision of its applications and uses
  • Excellent map reading skills and an understanding of the UK’s urban landscape
  • Ability to research and identify best practice in the urban and transportation planning as well as EVs
  • Enjoys managing competing priorities and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve results

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Urban Planning, Transport Planning, Geography, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in project coordination, administration, or operational support (desirable but not essential)
