[JOB - 27291] Senior QA Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing and evaluation. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Main Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and approaches to evaluate functionality and usability.
Author and maintain API test cases using existing contract and integration frameworks, expanding coverage across high-traffic endpoints.
Execute functional, exploratory, regression, performance, and security testing.
Automate test scenarios and support the development team using appropriate tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
Maintain and evolve test data fixtures for APIs to support integration and regression runs.
Proven experience in API testing (REST/GraphQL/gRPC), including automation and contract/integration test development.
Identify root causes of defects and work collaboratively with the development team to reduce defect rates.
Validate that software complies with established Business Rules and meets expected objectives.
Validate message processing and interactions. Testing the functionalities of desktop applications.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve identified issues.
Document tests conducted, producing reports and evidence records to assist in quality evaluation and issue tracking.
Participate in planning meetings and code reviews to ensure quality and potential improvements.
Analyze requirements and specifications to ensure tests cover all aspects of the software.
Stay updated on best practices and testing tools, seeking to enhance technical knowledge in the field.
Ensure software delivery adheres to the goal of zero defects in production.
Apply and maintain the test pyramid to ensure effective testing layers.
Implement and enhance automation algorithms and processes using AI techniques to improve workflow and operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain systems that promote continuous delivery and integration of new technologies.
