Job Description

Key responsibilities of a live-in Care Assistant:

  • Companionship: Being a friendly face and supportive presence, sharing meals and engaging in the client's favourite hobbies and interests.
  • Personalised care: Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing and grooming, always maintaining the client's dignity.
  • Household management: Helping with light housework, laundry and grocery shopping.
  • Nutritional support: Preparing fresh, healthy meals and ensuring the client is eating and drinking well.
  • Health and safety: Managing medication reminders and supporting mobility to prevent falls.
  • Independence advocacy: Helping clients remain active in their community, whether that's welcoming visitors to the home or visiting friends.
