Marketing Manager - Website Experience & Conversion (Remote First)
Job Description
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, we're looking for a hands-on website leader to fully own the development, performance, and optimization of Zensurance.com. As our "front door" and a multi-million-dollar revenue channel, the website is the engine of our customer acquisition.
This role is a unique hybrid of front-end WordPress development, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and digital analytics. Your mandate is to convert high-traffic volume into engaged prospects through technical excellence, a seamless user experience, and a rigorous, data-driven experimentation roadmap.

Website Development & Ownership:
Technical Ownership: Lead the front-end development, performance, and reliability of the Zensurance marketing site.Modernization: Drive the full replacement and modernization of our current WordPress theme.Maintenance: Build and maintain scalable WordPress templates, components, and structural elements.Optimization: Ensure industry-leading load times, accessibility compliance, mobile responsiveness, and technical SEO.Workflow Efficiency: Improve CMS structure to empower content teams and streamline publishing workflows.Conversion Rate Optimization:
Friction Analysis: Use heatmaps and session recordings to identify and eliminate drop-off points in the user journey.Experimentation: Design and execute a high-velocity A/B and multivariate testing roadmap to improve funnel efficiency.Experience Design: Recommend and implement high-performing layouts, content sections, and components.Conversion Growth: Directly influence the conversion rate from initial visit to completed quote application.Onsite Merchandising & Growth:
Campaign Integration: Optimize the site for seasonal promotions, feature highlights, and performance marketing campaigns.Asset Optimization: Maximize the impact of CTAs, trust signals, and product categories to drive intent.Landing Page Strategy: Partner with Performance Marketing to ensure landing pages are optimized for paid acquisition ROI.Navigation & UX: Use data insights to improve site navigation and help users find relevant information faster.SEO Management:
Search Strategy: Own organic performance, implementing modern best practices and AI-driven search optimization.Technical SEO: Improve schema markup, internal linking structures, and metadata.Content Partnership: Collaborate with the content team to identify keyword gaps and high-value ranking opportunities.Monitoring: Track ranking shifts, competitive moves, and changes in searcher intent.Analytics & Reporting:
Data Expertise: Serve as the internal subject matter expert for GA4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking.Performance Dashboards: Build reporting frameworks that visualize funnel health and the impact of site changes.Actionable Insights: Translate complex data into clear recommendations that influence the marketing roadmap.Integrity: Ensure tagging accuracy and clean data collection aligned with business KPIs.What Success Looks Like:

Experience: 5+ years in digital marketing, web development, or website optimization.Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in front-end WordPress development (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).Commercial Mindset: Proven experience managing a high-traffic website with direct lead or revenue outcomes.Analytics Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of GA4 and GTM; hands-on experience with A/B testing platforms.Strategic Thinking: Strong understanding of lead-gen funnels, acquisition flows, and UX principles.Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with Design, Product, and Engineering teams.Mindset: A proactive builder who is equally comfortable writing code and analyzing a spreadsheet.
