Principal Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Principal Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through delivery. This role requires strategic oversight, strong stakeholder management, and a proven ability to drive results in a remote environment. The ideal candidate brings deep project leadership experience, exceptional communication skills, and a track record of delivering large-scale programs on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee multiple high-impact projects and programs end-to-end.
Define project scope, objectives, success metrics, timelines, and budgets.
Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align strategy and execution.
Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and resource constraints.
Ensure clear communication, reporting, and governance across stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and best practices.
Qualifications
8+ years of progressive project/program management experience, including leadership of complex initiatives.
Proven experience working in fully remote or distributed teams.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid).
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet).
Must reside in the United States and possess a valid U.S. work permit.
Preferred
PMP, PgMP, or similar certification.
Experience managing enterprise-level or cross-departmental programs.
