Research Technician in the lab of Intravital Matrix Imaging
The Role
The laboratory of Intravital Matrix Imaging is interested in looking at pharmacodynamics and kinetics of small molecule inhibitors to map the live targeting efficacies in the primary tumour or metastatic tissues using optical biosensor imaging. The role would be to provide technical support with minimal supervision after training in new techniques, in a range of project specific research activities including: the running and troubleshooting of experiments to study of invasion specific protein activity in 3D cultures and in vivo before and after targeted therapies have been applied. Learning and application of advanced microscopy and intravital imaging techniques. The maintenance, use and teaching of research associated equipment (e.g. high-end microscopes). To assist team members in ensuring that staff and students operate safe working practices ensuring health and safety compliance within the laboratory.
