Test Engineer


Job Description

We are looking for a Test Engineer who is very skilled and pays attention to detail to help with the validation, verification, and quality assurance of software, systems, or products in a remote setting. The person who gets the job will be in charge of making and carrying out test plans, finding bugs, and making sure that products meet certain standards for functionality, performance, and reliability.

Main Duties:

Make test plans, test cases, and test scripts, and then carry them out.

Perform functional, integration, regression, and system-level testing

Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution

Collaborate with development, product, and systems teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues

Support test automation efforts and continuous integration pipelines, where applicable

Analyze test results and provide clear, concise reports to stakeholders

Ensure testing activities align with company quality standards and best practices


Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum of 3–6 years of experience in testing, quality assurance, or validation engineering

Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and defect tracking systems

Experience testing software, embedded systems, or complex technical products

Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with test automation tools and frameworks

Knowledge of Agile or DevOps development environments

ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications


Compensation:

Annual Salary Range: $90,000 – $125,000 USD, based on experience, technical expertise, and location
